There are always unexpected events, our team is used to anticipate those risks and have a plan B, C and even D ! That’s why, it’s important to have an on-site team (the same that follows the project from the beggining until the end) and that Tom, our Event Consulting Director is aware about all the projects within the agency so we can have an overview of all the potential risks an event could have.

UNEXPECTED office is based in Paris. When UNX has to organize an event in Cannes, how do they select their third-party suppliers?

UNEXPECTED commits to its value and it’s important for them to select local third-party suppliers to first reduce environmental impact but also because they have a local expertise and knowledge. Last but not least, it’s cost efficient as we reduce cost of transportation, accommodation and shipping of materials.

UNEXPECTED’s founder is a former IT consultant. He will always find a way to ease the work between team mates and the clients by setting up cloud tools. This website is built on Webflow by the way.

UNEXPECTED has their own creative department and they are used to work closely everyday with the event manager on all the projects. That’s why UNEXPECTED had the ability of being reactive and not depending on any third party. In order to facilitate the communication the two creative teams can speak directly, but always with the event manager copied.
